All-powerful Father, today we remember the feast of the Chair of St. Peter. As we gather for prayer let us remember Pope Benedict XVI and pray that God will guide him, give him courage and strength to remain faithful to all of the responsibilities that he carries within the Church. May we always take time in prayer to remember the Holy Father and his ministry. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
