Rejoice and be glad; your reward will be great in heaven.
Lord Jesus, you often spoke about love. This day, help us to love you with all our hearts and to love those who caused us pain and hurt. It is easy to love those whom we get along with, but the challenge is to love those who persecute us and who cause us harm in life. Give us the strength to see beyond this pain and embrace them with loving arms. We ask this in your name. Amen.
