Blessed are they who have kept the word with a generous heart and yield a harvest through perseverance. (Lk. 8)
Father of mercy, during these days of Lent we are asked to take time to reflect on our relationship with you. In coming before you, we ask for your mercy when we have failed to adhere to your words and to remain faithful in following your Son. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
