God loved the world so much, he gave His only Son, that all who believe in Him might not perish, but might have eternal life. (Jn. 3)
All-powerful and loving God, You have given us the gift of light in our world. Help us to reveal the gift of this light to those we encounter in our everyday lives. Guide us as we proclaim the birth of Your Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
