“This is the steward, faithful and prudent, whom the Lord set over his household, to give them their allowance of food at the proper time.” {Luke 12:423}
Heavenly Father, you created all things and entrusted to us on loan the goods of the earth. Help us to be good stewards of our little acre of your Kingdom. May we avoid dishonesty, fraud, theft and blind ambition while at work. Help us always to work diligently and fairly for just and equitable compensation.
May we always be good, loyal, loving spouses, parents, friends, neighbors and disciples of Christ. Help us always to contribute to the common good and to care for the truly needy in our midst. As good citizens may we love our country but you Lord, before all.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
