My mouth will declare your praise. (Ps. 51)
Almighty and eternal Father, we recall the life of St. Augustine Zhao Rong and his companions who were put to death for evangelizing throughout the country of China. This day may we remember all Christians living in China and may they know of your love for them. May these martyrs continue to bring hope and grace to Chinese Catholics. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
