The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. (Ps. 33)
God of Mercy, we recall the life and ministry of St. Monica who devoted her life to praying for her son’s conversion. As people on the journey, may we never give up praying for our loved ones. May we never lose hope and trust that our prayers will be heard and that those we are remembering in prayer will be touched by God’s healing presence and come to know God in their lives. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
