Father Maurice D'Souza, CSC, joins Holy Cross Family Ministries to promote Family Rosary in Midwest United States
Father Maurice D'Souza, CSC, former Provincial Superior of the Holy Cross Province of Southern India, has joined Holy Cross Family Ministries to increase mission outreach in the Midwest area of the United States.
Father D'Souza, ordained to the priesthood in 1977, has previously served in formation ministry and also as financial treasurer and procurator for the Indian Province. With a Masters degree in sociology from the University of Notre Dame, Father D'Souza is putting his experience in ministry and his education to use to promote the family Rosary.
"Father Maurce has great interest and zeal in serving people," said Father P. A. Devadoss, CSC, Provincial Superior of the Indian Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross. "He has leadership qualities and has shown great commitment to his responsibilities."
Born on 1948, D'Souza joined the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1971. After his prescribed ecclesiastical studies, he was ordained in 1977.
