The Family Rosary is introduced to Families in Yelahandar, India
The parishioners at Our Lady of Velankani Church in Yelahandar, India, were introduced to the family Rosary on Sunday, January 31, by Father Herve Morissette, CSC, director of Family Rosary - India, together with lay volunteers, Mr. and Mrs. Carvalho. After a Mass concelebrated by the pastor, Father Joseph Kanadam and Father Morissette, Mrs. Carvalho shared her experiences on the importance of family prayer and the benefits of the Rosary for all members of the family. Father Morissette shared the story of Father Patrick Peyton's life and the founding of Family Rosary. Following this visit, volunteers conducted informal meetings with couples from the parish and visited others in their homes. Promotion of the family Rosary continues in the parish through the efforts of the volunteers.
