I turn to you, Lord, in time of trouble, and you fill me with the joy of salvation. (Ps 32)
Almighty God, today we recall the life of St. Callistus I who spent his life addressing issues relating to humanitarian reforms. Let us remember all who are involved in trying to improve relations between people so that there is no division among them. May they have the wisdom to know when to speak and when not to speak to bring unity among divided groups. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
