“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24
Eternal, gracious and good God, your son prayed for unity on the eve of his passion, that all might be one as you Father are one in Him and He in you, that we also might be one in you. Help us to reconcile with all our brothers and sisters: to forgive without condoning, to forgive without forgetting and to forgive out of pure love with no conditions.
With the help of your grace, we can do it. Amen.
