Love the Rosary? Pledge to Pray the Rosary Daily. Let us take your pledge to the Holy Father this December !
As we begin this Year of Faith , we are delighted to share that we have created another commemorative book for Father John Phalen, CSC, President of Holy Cross Family Ministries, to present to Pope Benedict XVI during his trip to Rome this December. Once again, in keeping with this important tradition established by Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, we are honored to have the opportunity to present another book filled with hundreds of thousands of commitment forms from individuals and families from around the world.
As generations have done since 1942, we invite you to join us with your commitment to pray the Rosary. On the occasion of the Jubilee Year in 2000, Father John Phalen, CSC, President of Holy Cross Family Ministries, had the pleasure of presenting to Pope John Paul II a commemorative book with the names and commitment forms of hundreds of thousands of individuals and families from around the world, who made a promise to pray the Rosary daily.
We are beginning to fill another book of pledges from individuals and families. We invite you to join countless families in this tradition, and what better way to begin this Year of Faith, than to begin it with a promise to pray as a family, especially the praying of the Rosary.
Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC encouraged numerous families to place a pledge card on their refrigerator in their homes, as a reminder to gather to pray as a family, the family Rosary. We invite you to download a pledge card and place it where your family will be able to see it. We hope this will be a visible reminder to pray together as a family.
In this exciting moment in our church history, the Year of Faith gives us an opportunity to grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord Jesus and His Mother Mary. We thank you in Our Lady's name for supporting our efforts.
